All the renovations for the kitchen and en-suite are now finished and in full use. The kitchen was finished a couple of weeks ago. We are extremely pleased with the outcome. The last thing to be done was a shower pump, because the water pressure was rather weak and getting wet a long process. If you don’t think the kitchen has changed much, it hasn’t. We kept the original cabinets, but changed the work top, tiles, vinyl floor plus some more bits and pieces.

Visit to Joy and Geoff’s for lunch. Sybil, Sue and Glynn were also there. A good time was had by all
Graham and Jean came to see us for the day. The last time they came we were due to go to Harry Ramsden’s for lunch, but a water leak had closed the restaurant. This time we were confronted with this at the entrance. Oh dear, not again!
Fortunately they were only doing up the entrance and the restaurant was still operating.
Here we are in the Winter Gardens and along the prom.
A geocaching expedition with Tony and Ellen close to Petersfield. The chap with the labrador was another geocacher who we met en-route. We found all the geocaches attempted so were very pleased.
The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee weekend – Maggie and Andy came to visit so they could join in with the celebrations.
We had our Big Jubilee Lunch on Sunday afternoon at the same time as the Diamond Jubilee Thames Pageant. As you can see the weather was dry and overcast and that’s the way it stayed all afternoon, so we were very lucky, unlike everyone in London.
Ed testing one of the burgers he has just cooked. | Bailey looking for a spare one. |
On the Tuesday Sue’s brother Neil and nephew, Daniel arrived for lunch. The afternoon walk was rather damp. Daniel is wearing Sue’s wellies and waterproof hence the oversize look.
